São Miguel, Azorean band with Black Metal roots, Dark Age Of Ruin emerges in 2020 with a raw and atmospheric sound and it was founded by father and son, Hugo Medeiros (Vocals & Bass) and Hugin Medeiros (Guitars).
In 2022, Dark Age Of Ruin releases its first EP titled "From Northern Skies".
Son of Satan is the first single taken from the debut album, that intends to claim the throne of Black Metal produced in the Azores.
The album, FALSE MESSIAH AND THE ABSTRACT, will spit 9 tracks full of rage and destruction, leaving atmospheric tunes behind and presenting now the downfall of mankind with more devastating BM to the surface, turning the page for a new era, bringing some old school vein but with a fresh style in the extreme metal underground scene.
