This one had to cook for a little bit, but with Dirty Wombs Asia tour coming up this summer, it's time to hurry up and get this pairing out into the world.

Dirty Wombs are some of the hardest working punks in the game. You may have seen them around in recent years with their other bands (Chain Cult, Downwinder, Feral Kids....notice a trend? they're all excellent LOL), but Dirty Wombs was the one that started it all. Some Selfish Records Japanese hardcore, some Tragedy, some Greek crust, throw it all atop unrelenting driving drums and sprinkle on some hot guitar pyrotechnics, and for me it's one of the best hardcore bands in the game today.
Their side is 3 new tracks that....might be their best material yet?? It's so lean and mean, so quick and blazing, Aris never sounded faster on drums and Kostas' guitar leads have never sounded so intense. New LP on SPHC is slowly in the works and I hope it's just like this.

Sludge are the resident punk band in Shingu. I mean, literally, I think they are the only punk band in their city LOL. I close my eyes and can still see them fully decked, crust as fuck existence, traversing the empty streets of their quiet rural seaside town on our way to the psychobilly bar (closest thing to "the punk bar" we got there). They play a style of punk that's distinctly Japanese, a mixture of classic Japanese hardcore dynamic songwriting with a Ghoul, Demolition, Zouo sense of metallic influence, all filtered through the Osaka crust scene that they most closely align with.
Their side is one emotional and dynamic epic followed by one shorter, faster, louder rager. It's got all their signature moves: Katsuya's memorable roar, Hi-san's big guitar acrobatics, hard metallic riffing shoulder-to-shoulder with spirited punk attack. A personal favorite.
