Chaotic Noise Productions is proud to announce that the 100th release on C.N.P. (catalog number cnpr- 100) is a split LP between BLACK MAYONNAISE and BROWN PISS!!! From the cosmos to the sewer. This is the first Black Mayonnaise release in 12 years and Mike Duncan has delivered the goods with two epic, hypnotic, trance-inducing tracks of his notorious "lunar sludge-core." Crushing distorted bass, slow and heavy echo drum machine beats, super low pitched vocal gurgles delay and bubble into oblivion, with sci-fi synth and electronics creeping and weaving throughout the recording, altogether creating an atmosphere of high weirdness and cosmic horror. Me and Duncan have been friends for a very long time so I'm super honored to be releasing this material. This is the first vinyl appearance for Brown Piss, so again it's an honor for it to be on a split with Black Mayonnaise!! The Brown Piss side has 13 tracks of harsh noise, industrial noisecore, and heavy electronics. Massive crunch meets 4-track cassette crumble, bass synth & junk metal loops, piercing feedback, stuttering drum machine blasts, crawling textures, and a couple of jump scares. I think the two contrasting styles between both sides of the record ultimately really complement each other. Both sides were recorded in the summer of 2024 and both sides were expertly mastered by Grant Richardson for Hex Audio Labs in September of 2024. The hauntingly beautiful front cover painting was done by the artist Gaby Pelatti. This LP is limited to 200 copies on black wax.
