NIVEOUS is a cold and deadly Black Metal outfit from Milwaukee(WI). Their debut offering "Endless Snowfall" harkens back to a time before the bastardization of Black Metal was popularized to the masses and tags like "post" were accepted as refreshing terms for yuppies to muddle the frosty waters of fury. Niveous builds on the foundation of classick second wave Black Metal with a modern approach that incorporates fine tuned musicianship and good quality recording. This is not a band for casual fans of extreme music, this is a band for fans of traditional Black Metal that are tired of all the buffoonery masquerading as Black Metal. This is a love letter to yesteryear from trve fans of the genre of Black Metal.
