Be prepared – It’s the Devil’s Hour! Fast riffs, precise drums and aggressive vocals accompanied by expansive guitar solos: this is the style Devil’s Hour promises with their up-coming release “Apocalyptic Drunken Bas-tards”. While occasionally drifting into Heavy or Speed Metal territory, the band plays punky Black ‘n‘ Roll with English lyrics. The raw sound is mainly influenced by Punk, Rock and First Wave Black Metal bands from the 80s and 90s.
After three previous releases including a demo as well as two EPs, Devil’s Hour are up to more mischief. Founded in 2020, the duo consisting of former member Wild Rogan and frontman Burt Cocaine laid the musical foundation under the name “Sexrex”. In the course of their EP “Black ‘n’ Punk Marauders” (2023) the now four-piece combo from Frankfurt am Main formed a live band for the first time and joined the hordes of “Crawling Chaos”. More than a year after their stage debut, the band now pre-sents their new record and first full-length.
Recorded in-house, the mixing and mastering of the 30-minute Album was handled by Nikita Kamprad.
With “Apocalyptic Drunken Bastards” Devil's Hour rely on their core competencies singing about relevant topics such as beer, death and decay.
