Mundo Bzarro Distro & Auditive Cut Records Announces the new release of THRASHERA

Thrashera - Special cassette edition of "Losers Rotten Bootleg - Alive Metal Reunion Festival" available soon.

The Rio de Janeiro Thrashera maniacs are still celebrating the release of their latest album, Ao Vivo em Hellcife (2024), released in CD and cassette formats, and will have, in the same year, another release entirely dedicated to the Brazilian underground. Losers Rotten Bootleg - Alive Metal Reunion Festival was the band's first official live recording, an essential piece in the discography of the Rio de Janeiro band that was born by chance and became a milestone in the band's history.

Recorded in August 2013, at the Arena Cultural Abelardo Barbosa, in Pedra de Guaratiba, west side of Rio de Janeiro, the recording was made without any knowledge or preparation from the band during the pre-release show of their first studio album, For All Drunks 'n' Bitches. This event also marked the debut of Bode de Sade as the band's bassist. The album captures the band's raw and authentic energy at a unique time. The record, discovered in early 2014, caught the attention of labels Obskure Chaos Distro (SP) and IHells Productions (BA), who released a limited edition of 1,000 copies on CD. Interestingly, 2014 was also the year Thrashera released their first studio album.

Now, 10 years later, Mundo Bzarro Distro, from Vila Velha/ES, and Auditive Cut Records, from Rio de Janeiro, are about to fill a gap in the band's analog legacy with a special cassette edition, limited to just 30 copies. Celebrating a decade since the historic show, this edition features a new interpretation of the cover art, created again by the talented illustrator from Bahia, Emerson Maia.

More than just a re-release, this cassette is a testament to the road Thrashera has traveled and the unwavering spirit of metal made in the undergrounds of the counterculture, fueled by the maxim of "do it yourself".

A special item, with a very limited edition, a must-have for collectors and metal fans who want to relive the energy of one of the most authentic moments in Thrashera's Speed Rotten 'N' Roll trajectory.

AVAILABLE IN JANUARY 2025.
